"I typically don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes of helping others make an informed decision. After being involved in a serious car accident, I turned to Jason Goff’s State Farm office expecting guidance and support. Instead, I was met with a lack of transparency, poor communication, and zero accountability. I was informed — for the first time — that my deductible was set at $10,000, a number I never knowingly selected. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this, including multiple recorded phone calls with agents and support staff (all conducted legally with consent), Jason Goff’s office has refused returning my emails, as my preferred method of communication due to lack of transparency. This has left me with no transportation in running a business, providing for my children, and fearful to seek necessary medical care due to uncertainty around my insurance coverage, I’ve filed a formal complaint with both State Farm’s corporate office and the Illinois Department of Insurance — but as of this review, the situation remains unresolved. In moments like this, insurance is supposed to offer peace of mind. My experience has been the opposite. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for an insurance agent who will advocate for you when you need them most."
